Look at all that feather! Riksma has dreadlock curls in his tail!

2 Year old

Riksma is a rare 100% Full Blooded FHANA/FPS Studbook Dutch Friesian Stallion from the extremely exquisite Stam Line 2 that has produced some of the finest Friesian horses in Holland.
Friesians are known for their hair and feather, the more the better.
Riksma has an awesome tempermant! He is absolutely wonderful to work with. He is extremely friendly to all new horses and humans, very curious, comes up for a scratch, doesnt bite or kick and has no vices.
Riksma is son of Eefke Van De Zuiderwaard,
3rd Preemie FPS Stb Mare 2001(Leffert 306 x Itske Van De Zuiderwaard) X Japser 366 (Olof 315 X Franke) - World Champion FPS Approved Friesian Stallion!

  X

As you can see Riksma's Grandsire is the *INCREDIBLY MAGNIFICENT* LEFFERT 306 - Permanantly Approved Preferent Friesian Stallion. Since Feitse's unfortunate passing, Leffert is now the only living preferent stallion in the World!

Riksma's sire, Jasper 366, was the highest ranked Friesian stallion based on offspring in 2004. The fact that Jasper produces top foals, and the fact that Jasper is not available to North American breeders, makes Riksma even more precious.

Riksma and his Dam was imported from Holland in 2005.

Riksma's Aunt Tessa won 2005 Grand Nationals!

Some of Riksma's Siblings include Beart 411 (Jasper 366 x Feitse 293 P) Beart 411 has become the 2006 Central Stallion Inspection champion and is the 2006 champion of the KFPS studbook stallions. He beat out such contenders as Jasper 366 (his own sire and former champion).

Two Years old on 04/03/07 Riksma has TONS of hair & Feathers! Riksma takes the massive stature of his Grandfather Leffert 306, and will inherit his thick Baroque muscular form, and will make some very fine foals indeed!

Think of each breeding animal as an hourglass: the thin part in the middle is the individual, and the wide, full part at the top is his ancestors, his bloodlines, his genetic history. An individual breeding animal is really just a way for the genes from the ancestors to pass through and recombine in the offspring.
